Event 16 – Judas’s Bargain with the Jewish Leaders

^L Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. And Judas went to the chief priest and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might ^K betray Jesus to them. They were delighted to hear this and promised to give him money. So he ^M asked, “What are you willing to give me if I hand him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty silver coins. ^L He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.
